Het grote voordeel van een BV is dat jij niet zelf aansprakelijk gesteld kan worden voor eventuele schulden. Het vermogen van je BV en je privévermogen zijn gescheiden. Bij een eenmanszaak of vof is dat niet het geval en lopen je auto, huis of bankrekeningen gevaar. Ook moet een omzetting vaak achteraf gecorrigeerd worden, doordat er fouten zijn gemaakt in het opstellen van de stukken. Dit soort procedures zijn erg kostbaar.
